Remote Learning at Haywood Academy
Current government guidelines suggest that if a member of your household is displaying symptoms of the COVID-19 virus, all members of the household should self-isolate until a negative test result has been received. In the case of a positive result, the non-symptomatic house members should isolate for 10 days.
This guidance, whilst helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19, is removing students from schooling and so were are now ensuring all students, in all years and all subjects, have resources available via Google Classroom to guarantee students who are not able to attend school will not miss out on any more learning opportunities. This work is also available for students who may not be able to attend the Academy for any other reason.
Students who are otherwise fit for school should follow their usual timetable and complete tasks and online learning activities for all their usual subjects, taking break and lunch as per the normal school day.
