Welcome to Crossway, a part of Haywood Academy
It is both a great privilege and a huge honour to introduce you to Crossway, an Enhanced Provision, part of Haywood Academy, a learning community based within the stunning Burslem School of Art.
A growing number of our young people in today’s ever changing and exciting world, need and deserve an alternative approach to their education, for a range of different reasons. Crossway is wholly centred around our young people, to make sure that we do just that. We want them to benefit from the tailored approaches and support that they need to be their very best: we are different at Crossway and we make a difference!
Our dedicated and talented team are experts in delivering a diverse collection of learning experiences for our young people, ranging from traditional classroom based learning, to outward bounds activities and ‘real world’ learning, outside of the classroom, working with our many partners across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.
The Crossway curriculum is ultimately designed to engage and empower Crossway students to grow as responsible citizens of the future.
We are proud of Crossway’s ambition for our young people and look forward to our continuing journey, building futures together.
