Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is any kind of abuse that happens between people in a relationship. It can involve threatening, controlling, frightening, bullying or violent behaviour – and may be physically, emotionally, sexually or financially abusive.

Children witnessing domestic violence between two adults are also experiencing abuse – and they may be at risk of being abused themselves by the same adult.

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, it’s important to receive help as soon as possible.

Consent

You need consent every time you engage in sexual activity whether you’re with someone you have just met, or in a relationship. If someone changes their mind and no longer gives consent you must stop what you are doing immediately. No one can ever give consent for somebody else.
