We took our Greenpower car to Blyton Park to race it! 

The team arrived early, set up their pit spot and work station, registered the car, and got through pre-race checks. 

We had a major breakdown on race 1, only managing 3 laps before an electrical failure. 

We were rescued by another team who loaned us a replacement control box, but it took all of the remaining time in race 1 to diagnose the fault, find a replacement and fit this to the car. 

The Haywood team came 5th out of 24 kit cars in race 2! An excellent achievement as we did more pit changes to allow all students to drive who wanted to. 

A brilliant effort by all!
