Physics is an amazing subject that helps you understand everything from the biggest things in the universe to the smallest, as well as everything around you. Helping young people understand the same things as well as helping them develop into wonderful young people is a huge privilege, which is why I love working at Haywood Academy.
I am incredibly proud to lead Teaching and Learning at Haywood, which means I get to look at lessons across the school and help teachers develop so that lessons become as exciting and engaging as possible. This gives me such a wonderful opportunity to help to give young people of all backgrounds the greatest chance of success in life and to instil a life-long love for learning.
When I’m not in school, I love planning adventures for my two boys, Harrison and Nathaniel for our holiday time in our campervan. I also love cycling, especially mountain biking, and play football. I am a huge Coventry City fan and try and go to as many games as I can.
