Our sustainable school:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Haywood Academy, we recognise that the future of our planet depends on the choices we make today. Sustainability is at the heart of our vision for a better tomorrow\u2014an approach that focuses on meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a community, Haywood Academy is committed to cultivating an eco-conscious mindset among our students, staff, and the wider community. By embedding sustainability into our everyday actions, we aim to inspire positive change, promote environmental stewardship, and empower our students to become proactive global citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Eco Club (Green council):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our school Eco Club meets bi-weekly to ensure consistent and effective progress on our environmental initiatives. By meeting every two weeks, we allow enough time for club members to work on projects, gather information, and collaborate on ideas outside of meetings. Meeting regularly ensures we stay on track with our goals, whether it\u2019s organizing events, conducting sustainability campaigns, or making positive changes in our school and community.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Green Council has begun busily planning activities to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
