We have a strong reputation in the performing arts: Music, Drama and Dance are embedded into the weekly curriculum, emphasis is on participating, encouraging, creating imagination and the ability to work in a partnership with other members\u00a0of\u00a0the class and provide students with opportunities for improvisation and group projects. The importance\u00a0of\u00a0performing arts at\u00a0Haywood Academy is significant. It\u2019s easy for children to become filled in a sea\u00a0of\u00a0theory, which is why subjects that\u00a0offer practical learning are essential. It is important children are\u00a0offered a range\u00a0of\u00a0exciting experiences which\u00a0offer independent thinking and teach valuable life skills, which help equip them for life and work beyond school. Students have countless opportunities to take part in productions.
